Intellectual Barbarians: The Kibbo Kift Kindred is an exhibition at The Whitechapel Gallery running until March 2016. It explores the creative output of The Kibbo Kift Kindred (1920-1932), a progressive English organisation whose idealistic ambitions for world peace were rooted in a shared appreciation of nature and handicraft. The exhibition coincides with the publication of The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift (Donlon Books, 2015), an exhaustive full-length study of the group by co-curator Dr. Annebella Pollen (University of Brighton).
